Asheville, NC lost the Honda Hoot Rally because it simply got too big for the city to accomodate. Asheville is a very pro-bike city and currently hungry for Rally business. If we could keep a Savage Rally under 15,000 bikes they would welcome us with open arms. Impractical distance-wise though for western Savage owners, but fairly central to the east coast. Additionally, the FSSNOC is planning its 2001 spring Rally for Cherokee, NC, about 50 miles west of Asheville. Just a thought!
